This is a purple and pink suncatcher that measures 4 3/4 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches wide square. However I have attached the hanger on the corner so that it hangs diagonally so it now measures 7 1/8 inches tall, including hanging loop, by 6 1/2 inches wide. It is made with with a 1 1/2 square textured clear square surrounded by swirly purple and pink opal glass. It is wrapped with a zinc frame and finished with a black patina.
A bit about my glass work each piece of glass has been hand selected, cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass but I have a few with copper and silver. I try very hard not to have a lot of waste glass that why you will see wall art pieces and mosaics in my shop.
My pieces are designed to be used inside.
It would also make a great gift.
