This ocean waves inspired round porthole sun catcher panel is made with a mix of blue and teal stained glass. With several different shades and textures of glass some pieces are translucent and some are more opaque. Each piece of stained glass has been hand cut and ground smooth prior to applying copper foil tape to the edges and soldering it all together. I wrapped the outside edges with lead came and added a chain for easy hanging.
It measures 8 1/8 inches round (not counting hanging chain). With the chain for easy hanging it measures 11 3/4 inches tall.
*In the process of stained glass manufacturing lines and bubbles often form in the glass. I have always loved the added interest this provides in my pieces. This piece has lots of bubbles and lines in the glass.
It is ready to ship and would make a great gift.
