I love Christmas trees so I make several different styles of them. This one was inspired by a string quilting design. It features several different shades of green stained glass, some art textures, opaque and some are translucent. I hand cut each piece then ground them smooth. Next I applied decorative scalloped copper foil to all edges and burnished for a secure fit. Then soldered all edges and finished the solder with a black patina. There is a small ring to the top if you want to hang the glass as an ornament.

The "stump" stand is made from a small log slice from a maple tree. It has several grey splotches and one beautiful lichen on one side. If you don't like the look just spin it around and its different.
The "stump" stand measures 2 inches wide by 2 inches deep and 1 5/8 inches tall.

The glass and wood together measures 4 7/8 inches high by 4 3/8 inches wide and 2 inches deep.

I sell a lot of these log stands for holding fused glass and stained glass so it you want to use the stand year round the slot that holds the art is about 3/16ths of an inch wide. (that's 3 pennies). It's a little wider at the ends than it is in the middle. I sealed the top the wood with a low sheen polyurethane.
