This is a small display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass. It is made from salvaged/reclaimed cedar I picked up at my local salvage place. The beveled front features lighter cedar grain (see pics) but if you want a different look flip it around and it has a completely different look. I wanted to leave this wonderful color just as it is so I did not add a stain but only a low sheen polyurethane.
It measures 5 inches wide by 4 1/4 deep inches and 1 1/8 inches tall. The slot that holds the art is bit less than 1/4 inches wide. (that's 4 pennies). Some foiled stained glass will fit but 1/4 lead or zinc came pieces will not. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
