This handmade small wreath features a stained glass dragonfly and several pink stained glass flowers and green leaves. The dragonfly is made with light teal and dark blue green glass. The dragonfly measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches tall. The flowers are made with a soft pastel pink and orange glass and measure 1 1/4 to 1 1/2. I finished all the stained glass pieces with a black patina.
The wreath itself is made from cuttings from my very own muscadine grape vines. I like to use them for wreaths because they are smaller in diameter than regular grape vines. This unique piece measures 11 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide (not including the pale gold ribbon hanger). With the ribbon hanger it measures about 15 inches tall.
A bit about my glass work each piece of glass has been hand selected, cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass.
My pieces are designed to be used inside.
