This small handmade muscadine wreath features a stained glass butterfly and several pink stained glass flowers and green leaves. The butterfly is made with a semi translucent blueish green glass for the wings and a browner opaque green glass for the body. The butterfly measures 2 1/2 tall by 3 inches wide. The flowers are made with a pink opaque glass and measure 1 inch by 1 inch. I finished all the stained glass pieces with a black patina. The wreath itself is made from cuttings from my very own muscadine grape vines. I like to use them for wreaths because they are smaller in diameter than regular grape vines.

This unique piece measures 9 inches tall by 10 inches wide (not including the teal ribbon hanger).

A bit about my glass work each piece of glass has been hand selected, cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass but I have a few with copper and silver. I try very hard not to have a lot of waste glass that why you will see wall art pieces (like this one) and mosaics in my shop.

My pieces are designed to be used inside.
