This clear diamond suncatcher is made with mostly clear textured and iridescent glass. The stained glass diamond and glass crystal dangle measures 6 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall not including the long ribbon hanger. With the silver metallic ribbon hanger it measures almost 12 3/4 inches total. I finished it with a black patina.

A bit about my glass work. I usually hand draw all my own patterns. I choose each piece of glass based on the look I'm after. I do like glass with ripples, streaks and bubbles because of the interest it creates in the finished piece. I then hand cut and grind each piece to shape then assembled them using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges, burnished and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass but I have a few with copper and silver. I try very hard not to have a lot of waste glass because of this you will often find various wall art pieces and mosaics in my shop.

My pieces are designed to be used inside.
