This a small slice of a tree that was damaged in a storm. I hated to loose the tree but loved the beautiful lichens that were growing on this branch. So I made a display stand for art, fused glass or stained glass art out of it. I sealed this one with a low sheen polyurethane.
It measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches tall. This one has a little bit of a lean to it but the slot holds things straight. The narrowest point of the slot that holds the art is about 3/16ths of an inch wide. (that's 3 pennies). This one is better for smaller pieces. Please check the thickness of your piece at its thickest point before ordering.
This listing is the wood piece only no art included.
These stands will also hold flat canvas art and tin/metal signs.
