This stained glass star Christmas tree ornament/suncatcher measures 3 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. The star is made of yellow opaque textured glass and is finished with a black patina.
A bit about my glass work each piece of glass has been hand selected, cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass but I have a few with copper and silver. I try very hard not to have a lot of waste glass that why you will see wall art pieces and mosaics in my shop.
My pieces are designed to be used inside.
These would make a great teacher or coworker gIfts.
