This red stained glass candle ornament/ suncatcher measures 7 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide. It is made red, green and yellow mostly translucent glass. I used 3 half round glass jewels for the holly berries and I finished with a black patina. I think it would even be a cute Christmas ornament.
A bit about my glass work each piece of glass has been hand selected, cut and ground to shape then assembled using the Tiffany method with copper foil applied to all edges and then soldered. Most of my pieces have black patina applied because it contrasts so well with the glass but I have a few with copper and silver. I try very hard not to have a lot of waste glass that why you will see wall art pieces and mosaics in my shop.
I take my pictures outside (because the light is better) but my pieces are designed to be used inside.
It would also make a great gift.
